Sales to Out-Of-State Medical Patients
Compassion centers and Hybrid Cannabis retailers may conduct sales to out-of-state patient medical cardholders in accordance with R.I. Gen. laws 21-28.11-5(b), provided the receiving or purchasing patient has a valid medical cannabis card, or its equivalent, which has been issued by the applicable regulating authority for the medical cannabis program of the issuing in the U.S. state / jurisdiction / territory. The Patient must also possess and present a valid government issued identification matching the issuing state and the name on their medical cannabis card.
